The SportsMavericks.com has been created to bridge the gap between parents and athletes while trying to balance the pursuit of academic excellence and sports participation. The TV Show is designed to entertain, educate and motivate parents to participate fully in the academic and athletic process of their athlete.  Our talk is straightforward, spontaneous and unscripted by experts.  Our celebrity guests and hosts will add the spice and color to the show’s original content.

The Numbers & the Team Sports
The Sports Mavericks.com has a potential viewing audience of 12 million parents and over six million student athletes.  The number of students participating in team sports has increased over the years and shall continue to grow according to the NCAA Research Analyst, Lisa Greer Douglas. “The participation of millions of young girls into sports programs at grade school, high school, college Olympics, World Games and the Professional Sports ranks has certainly contributed to the ever growing number of student athletes,” says Douglas.

Brand Recognition and Extension
A sport celebrity will appear on the TV Show each week and participate as a guest host to introduce other sport celebrities.  The show will also invite non-sports VIP’s as well as high-ranking community leaders who are professionals in the business of sports and education. In addition, to demonstrate the dedication to community, family, school, team and academics, a parent(s) and student athlete will annually receive the Sport Mavericks TV Show All-American SportsMavericks.com Award, and the Sports Parent Award. Technology. Today, talk shows are receiving a lot of help from hand held iPods and Internet Radio and TV.  We are a good fit for that market with our target audience on the go.
